According to CoPilot, you can trade options in an IBKR SIPP if you go through a SIPP admin such as Westerby Trustee Services or atsipp. Assuming CoPilot is correct, I might go down this route

Simple requests go through convoluted processes; I was promised a 3hr turnaround on a ‘ card verification’ that is still pending over 24hrs later? Shocking customer service!

As Travis Head did, one of the other senior batters should have had the stones to volunteer to go up the order.
