  @etrade This call came at almost 9pm, I wasn't at my computer, and had largely forgotten about this incident. Then I get this stupid form letter that says nothing but had to come in a secure portal. It only serves to remind my how poorly this entire situation from beginning to now was handled by @etrade.

  @HubSnub @CharlesSchwab @etrade And for the record, ETRADE has historically been the worst. This is an anomaly for them.

  @TeslaBoomerMama @etrade I have been with etrade for over 10 years. They have always been great. Absolutely no fees for banking with minimum balance which my Roth satisfied. With that comes the ups and downs of “virtual banking” I have not had a traditional brick and mortar bank since year 2000. Back then people thought i was crazy “your information will get hacked etc”. The etrade acquisition by Morgan Stanley complicated some things. Extremely slow to update systems to modern day standards. Took years to fix some online issues and services offered. Simple things like access to Zell. I registered for ipo access over a year ago. Nothing to do with Soace X. Everything to do with being prepared for future opportunities. I would be cautious with situations where someone is registering too close to the time they want to participate in an ipo. Not saying this person is not qualified but sometimes the things need time to iron out. Phone calls with etrade representatives etc.

  @etrade For past 2 years I submitted >100 feedback issues on how to make power E-Trade Pro the same as E-Trade pro desktop Nothing has been done except some tiny tweaks. ETrade management needs to get somebody to crack the whip and get this thing working

  @Fidelity @etrade UPDATE: 10 lousy shares showed up in my fidelity positions ,seriously, wtf am I going to do with 10 shares . 10 shares so you hope we keep our accounts with ya ,well you ARE WRONG .

  @etrade I even called, your system kept saying I didnt have a valid account or SSN linked to an account then was on hold for so long I gave up. Despite me being logged in, can't do anything on the platform. Awful, I'll be moving it all off once it re-opens. Too many times now!

  @etrade That call, where I was again told there was a "known technical problem" was resolved, despite it taking the online agent 45 minutes of mostly delayed, circular conversation before he attempted to understand the problem, much less direct me to a solution. But he continued to tell me he couldn't get into any specifics unless I capitulated on my identifying data.

  @monomyth @etrade I’m having the same problem. The participate button was greyed out and now I’m getting the same error message.

  @ETRADE @MorganStanley Froze all accounts, including Social Security, despite funds sitting right there to cover it. Won't let me rectify the overdraft myself either. "1 min to live agent" 1 hour, then hangs up. Every time. 20 yrs a customer. food/meds #etrade #MorganStanley

  @etrade liquidated a 7 figure stock portfolio my wife inherited into a managed fund. When there was confusion about which accounts funds were going into, E*trade did nothing to prevent the rebalancing/ liquidation. This triggered a sizable tax event. E*trade is the worst.

  @etrade @EricGrossman — I have now exhausted customer service, filed regulatory complaints, and documented everything. Two promised deadlines have passed with zero explanation. Nearly $10,000 remains restricted and I still cannot speak with anyone who actually controls the case.

  @stockmom I could have with prop firms but turned two down. I did not know enough about the companies. But its a good way to learn to daytrade. I wish @etrade would ask me though lol
