BluntForceOptions (@BluntForceOpt) segnalati@etrade The deterioration of @ETrade since the @MorganStanley takeover has officially hit a breaking point. Today is a total system meltdown--options data failing to load, charts broken, and the platform is completely unusable. I’m fortunate to trade on a proprietary platform that keeps me operational, but that doesn’t excuse this. Even as a secondary backup, this level of service is a slap in the face to those of us who stayed loyal through the 2008 financial crisis and decades of market shifts. What was once a reliable tool has been hollowed out by corporate arrogance and gross technical incompetence. If you’re a serious trader, this is no longer a safe or viable home for your capital. I’m officially moving all capital out and scouting a new broker for my secondary accounts. This clown show is over.

10loris (@10loris) segnalati@TeslaBoomerMama @etrade Also, on the online questionnaire, I said that I was aggressive investor model and was still turned down. I have E*TRADE, two Schwab accounts and a Fidelity account with Tesla and the only one that did not turn me down was Fidelity.

Absolutely no fees for banking with minimum balance which my Roth satisfied. With that comes the ups and downs of “virtual banking” I have not had a traditional brick and mortar bank since year 2000. Back then people thought i was crazy “your information will get hacked etc”. The etrade acquisition by Morgan Stanley complicated some things. Extremely slow to update systems to modern day standards. Took years to fix some online issues and services offered. Simple things like access to Zell. I registered for ipo access over a year ago. Nothing to do with Soace X. Everything to do with being prepared for future opportunities. I would be cautious with situations where someone is registering too close to the time they want to participate in an ipo. Not saying this person is not qualified but sometimes the things need time to iron out. Phone calls with etrade representatives etc.
