@OffBalanze @ArloSmartHome Agreed. With essential functions shutting down, our VMC4030 cameras will be basically useless. I can live without firmware updates for awhile... but... Arlo won't be a part of any decision matrix when looking for replacements.

@ArloSmartHome I will never trust your products again. If you can do this to earlier models, what's stopping you from EOL-ing current models a couple of years down the road? Why would I *upgrade* to new models when you can just pull the infrastructural support for it later?

@ArloSmartHome so not only us who bought some of the original Arlos put up with bugs and just bad performance are now getting EOL and no 7 day storage or anything any more. You guys are giant pricks. Everyone should avoid #Arlo and go with #eufy or someone else.

@ArloSmartHome I’ve spent well over $700 into this system, based on promises and claims made by you. It’s disappointing that you now choose to go back on said promises, I understand not supporting old hardware, but effectively bricking/paywalling the system unless more money is spent is trash.

@ArloSmartHome 2 months notice of EOL support for Arlo Pro cameras before they become bricks? Not even a trade in program or anything? Terrible customer service. Won't be buying another Arlo product.

@CNETNews Arlo is a scam. Advertise cloud storage and camera notifications for years - the main reason for choosing them - and then just announce they’re EOLing and shutting it down. Why would anyone buy from @ArloSmartHome again?

@ArloSmartHome finally pushed me over the edge… after debating on replacing the battery powered cameras and looking at @Ubiquiti equipment I’ll be replacing all Arlo smart home devices with unifi, however the issue is where I don’t have PoE.

@ArloSmartHome I will never reco your products. Killing my camera systems I've invested in for years is poor practice. My cams that I paid for will keep working fine... But only if now years after I purchased them, I start to pay a subscription fee! You can get bent!

Just learned that as of Jan 1, 2023 @ArloSmartHome is ******* all their customers and the equipment we have installed in going to end up in the trash.
